Plum Brandy/ Rakija Latest

Check out some of the latest media activity on this growing category!

Rakija is a popular alcoholic beverage that has its origins in Southeast Europe, but it has gained popularity in Australia as well. It is made from various fruits, such as plums, grapes, or apricots, and has a distinct flavor that varies depending on the type of fruit used. In recent years, there has been an increase in demand for rakija in Australia, particularly among the Balkan and Eastern European communities. This has led to the emergence of several local distilleries producing high-quality rakija, which can be found in specialty liquor stores and online retailers across the country. Additionally, there are several cultural events and festivals that celebrate rakija and its cultural heritage, providing an opportunity for Australians to experience the drink and learn more about its history and significance. As rakija continues to gain popularity, it is becoming an increasingly important part of Australia's diverse and multicultural food and drink scene.
